HAA Reminder: 6/1 Small Group Submission Deadline - May 12th

Dear Valued Agents, 


This is a friendly reminder that the deadline to submit the 6/1 Small Group new business is Tuesday, May 12th.

To ensure a smooth onboarding process and create a positive experience for your new groups, it is critical that all paperwork is submitted on time. Meeting this deadline allows our team to properly review, process, and prepare each case for a successful
June 1st effective date.


New Business Submission Instructions:


Please submit all small group new business paperwork and required documentation securely to the new business email address. We strongly encourage the use of the enrollment spreadsheet to submit new business membership.

We also strongly encourage the use of the enrollment spreadsheet when submitting new enrollees. Utilizing the spreadsheet helps mitigate errors, reduces processing delays, and ensures accurate member setup from the start.

Why It Matters
 

Full system onboarding
The group is fully onboarded in all of Health Alliance Plan (HAP) systems, as well as any applicable vendor partner systems, by the effective date. This ensures eligibility, claims processing, and customer service functions are active without disruption.


Timely ID card distribution
Member ID cards are received before members seek services, preventing access issues, claim denials, or member dissatisfaction at the point of care.


Accurate and timely invoicing
The initial invoice is generated correctly and delivered on time, ensuring smooth billing, accurate premium collection, and positive employer group experience from day one.
